Job summary

Performance Home Medical in Dallas, TX seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to join our clinical team. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30 AM–5:00 PM) with occasional on‑call rotations, and responsibilities include educating patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies, setting up devices, and performing home and hospital visits to support patient health.

The candidate will hold CRT or RRT certification with an active Texas license and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Active Texas Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home and hospital visits.

Responsibilities

• Educate, support, and empower patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory therapies and equipment management.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and instruct on respiratory devices (CPAP/Bi‑level therapy, home ventilators, cough assist, oscillation vest).
• Conduct home and hospital visits to assess patient needs and provide follow‑up care.
• Ensure proper functionality of equipment through inspection and testing.
• Complete thorough and timely documentation to maintain compliance and patient records.
