BayCare Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the North Bay Hospital team in Riverview. The role involves delivering respiratory care under physician orders, following hospital protocols, and functioning as a key member of the care team.

Responsibilities include performing noninvasive and invasive procedures, conducting diagnostic tests, and assessing patients' respiratory status. The position requires 2 years of experience and formal credentials, with on-call requirements

Qualifications

• 2 years in Respiratory therapy experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Respiratory Therapy)
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) - within 6 months
• PALS (Pediatric) - Preferred
• NRP (Neonatal) - Preferred
• Technical Respiratory Therapy
• Associate's Respiratory Therapy - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Performs diagnostic testing and respiratory assessment and evaluations.
• Work requirement of 4 shifts a month
• Performs other duties as assigned.
