Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS within 60 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 6 months of employment start date.
• NBRC-RRT credential required.
• RT/Practitioner credential within 1 year of employment start date.
• Neonate resuscitation or degree requirement within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status via focused exams, breath sounds, airway patency, and intervention needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy: oxygen, aerosolized meds, airway clearance, and other treatments.
• Manage ventilation and airways: assist with artificial airway, invasive and noninvasive ventilation, monitor responses.
• Support patients and the care team: educate families, partner with physicians and nurses, assist newborn stabilization when needed.
• Maintain equipment and safety: set up/clean respiratory equipment, ensure readiness, transport ventilated patients, follow infection-prevention standards.
