Job summary

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program, NBRC RRT credential with Alabama licensure or eligibility, and BLS. ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy required.
• NBRC-registered as RRT and licensed or eligible as LRT with Alabama Board required.
• BLS certified or must obtain within 30 days of employment; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support.
• Consult with physicians on development and modification of patient care plans.
