Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Lead to supervise shifts and oversee patient assessments and treatments in the Respiratory Department. You will develop and implement the Respiratory Care Plan in alignment with Clinical Practice Guidelines.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS within specified timeframes, plus an Associate Degree and state credentials (CRT/RRT/RCP or NBRC-RRT).

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required within defined timeframes.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
• State-credentialed CRT/RRT/RCP or NBRC-RRT certification.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

Provides shift supervision and monitors day to day assessment, treatment and services within the Respiratory department. Develops and implements the Respiratory Care Plan based upon Clinical Practice Guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Associate Degree
• (CRT-State) Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, or (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
