WyndRidge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tennessee is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory therapy care and life support to residents under physician supervision.

You will operate ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and aerosol devices, develop care plans with the team, and participate in rounds and discharge planning. We offer competitive hourly pay and flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, PRN), plus tuition assistance and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Credentialed graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active Respiratory Therapy License in State.
• Prior hospital-like setting experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct respiratory assessments for new admissions within 24–48 hours and document findings.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized respiratory care plans with the care team.
• Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning discussions.
• Set up, operate, and monitor ventilators, oxygen systems, aerosol devices.
• Administer respiratory treatments and assist with breathing exercises.
• Monitor patient responses and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Coordinate equipment, oxygen, supplies, and medications with nursing and case management.
• Communicate changes in condition to physicians and staff.
• Support continuity of care when respiratory coverage is unavailable.
• Assist with CPR and code response training.
