Job summary

WyndRidge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tennessee seeks a Respiratory Therapist to administer therapy and life support for residents with cardiopulmonary needs, under physician supervision. You may support more than one center on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include assessments within 24–48 hours, care plan development, and coordination with nursing and case management. Credentialing and state licensure required; hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Credentialed graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active Respiratory Therapy License in the state.
• Prior hospital-like setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct respiratory assessments for new admissions within 24–48 hours and document findings.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized respiratory care plans with the care team.
• Set up, operate, and monitor respiratory equipment including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems.
• Administer respiratory treatments, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and breathing exercises as indicated.
• Coordinate equipment, oxygen, supplies, and medications with nursing and case management.
• Assist with CPR and code response training and drills.
