Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles area is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care, assess and manage respiratory disorders, and collaborate with physicians to improve patient outcomes.

You will implement treatment plans including oxygen, ventilation, and airway management, document interventions, and educate patients and families. Excellent communication, safety, and ongoing professional development are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two-year AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Minimum 1 year primary work experience as a Respiratory Therapist or student rotation.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license: CA.
• BLS CPR and PALS certifications required.
• Fire Safety training completed within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Plan and evaluate the respiratory care of patients regularly.
• Demonstrate respiratory care judgment and knowledge of respiratory process.
• Supervise respiratory interventions and assist with related tasks.
• Set priorities and coordinate respiratory care with the team.
• Document symptoms, treatments, and patient condition changes for the care team.
• Coordinate the plan of care with other health care team members to achieve goals.
