Sandstone Post Acute in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide care in a skilled nursing setting. Shifts are 10–12 hours with rotating days and weekends, and pay ranges from $42.00 to $50.00 per hour depending on experience.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time staff. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, adherence to physician orders, and collaboration with the nursing team to improve resident quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and maintains an active CRT or RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.
• Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English.
• Represents the organization professionally and participates in CQI activities.
• Complies with state/federal guidelines and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care per physician orders and facility policies.
• Administers therapies and monitors for side effects and outcomes.
• Assesses patient needs and coordinates interventions with nursing staff.
• Operates and maintains respiratory equipment safely and efficiently.
• Documents pertinent data in patient records after therapy sessions.
• Manages shift operations and responds to emergencies as in-charge therapist.
• Participates in ongoing training and education.
