Elevate Care Windsor Park is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The role involves assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with respiratory conditions, including oxygen therapy and inhaled medications, and providing education to patients and families.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, collaboration with the healthcare team, data documentation, and emergency response. Active state license, BLS/ACLS, and clinical experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Clinical experience in respiratory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions; administer oxygen therapy and inhaled medications.
• Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators for patients on mechanical ventilation.
• Provide patient and family education on respiratory care and therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the team.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies, including code situations.

Your Responsibilities:

Respiratory Care Management – Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions, including the administration of oxygen therapy, inhaled medications, and other treatments.
Ventilator Management – Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators for patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
Patient Education – Provide education and training to patients and their families about respiratory care, treatments, and techniques for managing respiratory conditions.
Collaborate with Healthcare Team – Work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Monitor and Record Data – Track patient progress, document treatment outcomes, and communicate changes in condition to the healthcare team.
Emergency Response – Respond promptly to any respiratory emergencies, including code situations.

Qualifications:

Current Respiratory Therapist License – Must be active and in good standing.
BLS & ACLS Certification.
Experience in Respiratory Care – Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Strong Clinical Skills & Critical Thinking – Ability to assess patient conditions and make appropriate decisions.
