Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II/5-6 to provide specialized respiratory care across multiple patient populations. The role emphasizes collaboration with the healthcare team, adherence to Joint Commission and Medicare guidelines, and evidence-based practice to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
• Must be a credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC
• Must have a current Respiratory Care Practitioner state license from IL or MI with NBRC credentials if credentialed after July 1, 2002
• New graduate therapists must successfully pass all exams required for Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Proof of Application for state licensure required for new graduates before orientation
• Licensure must be obtained within six months of hire
• CPR - American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)
