Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health System is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist II at Suburban Hospital to provide safe, evidence-based respiratory care across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary issues, administer oxygen and chest therapies, and operate ventilators under medical direction.

The role requires an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC credential, and current BLS with ACLS/PALS/NRP/STABLE where applicable; a minimum

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field required.
• NBRC credential and current credentialing body requirements.
• Current BLS; ACLS, PALS, NRP and STABLE where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care under medical direction across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary compromise.
• Administer oxygen therapy and chest treatments; aerosolized medications.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and related respiratory equipment.
• Document care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
