Job summary

Baptist Health System, Inc. is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for full-time 36 hours on the 3rd shift in Lexington, KY. The team delivers sophisticated respiratory care, including ventilator management and pulmonary function testing, with 24/7 emergency coverage.

Responsibilities include aerosol and oxygen therapy, NIV and MV support, arterial blood gases, and CPR. Licensure, NBRC, BLS, PALs/NRP within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist through the NBRC.
• Associates Degree.
• Must be licensed by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care as an RCP in Kentucky.
• Must maintain an active BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Must obtain PALs and NRP within 6 months.

Our expert team provides personalized care and advanced treatments for conditions like asthma and COPD. We offer comprehensive pulmonary function testing, advanced ventilator management, pulmonary rehabilitation programs, asthma and COPD education and management, and 24/7 emergency respiratory care. Our dedicated professionals deliver high-quality, compassionate care using state-of-the-art treatment plans.

Description:

• Must be licensed by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Kentucky and in accordance with the provisions of KRS chapter 314A

• Must maintain an active BLS. [within 30 days of hire if not already active]

• Must obtain PALs and NRP within 6 months
