Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in emergency cardio-respiratory treatment per care plan.
• Administer cardio-pulmonary therapy and meds to the respiratory tract with appropriate rationale.
• Assess patient progress and suggest therapy adjustments to physicians and nurses.
• Provide competent patient care to Neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
• Demonstrate CPR according to American Heart Association guidelines.
• Educate patients and families as needed.
• Maintain accurate records per department standards.
