Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide professional respiratory care across patient populations. The role includes assessing needs, developing a respiratory plan of care, delivering ventilation and oxygen therapies, and performing ABG analyses under physician guidance.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited respiratory program, licensure in Missouri, and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Program.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assist in determining a respiratory plan of care.
• Provide medicated and non-medicated therapies, invasive and noninvasive ventilation, oxygen administration and titration.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and diagnostic testing related to ventilation and pulmonary function.
• Provide education to patients, students and new staff, and maintain accurate electronic documentation.
