Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients requiring respiratory therapy in clinical settings.

Document patient assessments and therapy plans with accurate, timely notes.

Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment per protocol.

Maintain strict adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and ethics.

Operate and maintain respiratory equipment and safety check procedures.

Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Meet personal performance targets and contribute to overall department KPIs.

Support and educate patients and families on respiratory care plans.

Track therapy pipelines and forecast potential patient load and needs.

Participate in on-site training and pursue ongoing professional development.

Engage in continuous quality improvement projects to enhance patient care quality.

Experience/Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist license in applicable state.

Clinical assessment, treatment, and documentation of respiratory therapies.

Ability to monitor patient responses and adjust therapy per protocol.

Proficiency with respiratory equipment and safety check procedures.

Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, ethics, and compliance.

Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize outcomes.

Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans.

Participate in ongoing professional development and on-site training.

Contribute to continuous quality improvement projects.
