Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide patient respiratory care and to complete established competencies within the introductory period.

The role requires Texas license for Respiratory Care, NBRC CRT/RRT certification, BLS and ACLS/PALS/NRP within specified timelines; ideal candidates may have some related experience. Position may offer a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

• Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care Program.
• None experience required.
• Some experience in respiratory care or related area preferred.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care Program

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Some experience in respiratory care or related area

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current RCP State of Texas License, Possession of current CRT / RRT Certification from NBRC Renewal required every 5 years unless grandfathered prior to July 1, 2002)

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):

• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have


• AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.


• AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role


• AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering pedi


• AHA NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering nicu
