Select Medical's Gulfport, MS hospital seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to deliver high-quality care on a full-time night shift. You will assess patients, implement treatment plans, manage respiratory therapies, and support a 12-hour shift with a strong orientation and ongoing education.

Requirements include NBRC-credential (CRT or RRT), active state licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and graduation documentation; 1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• NBRC credential: active CRT or RRT.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Prefer 1 year of related experience.

• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.

Schedule: Full Time Night Shift, 12-Hour ShiftsCompensation: $29.73 - $40.00 per hour, based on years of experience

• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
