AdventHealth in KILLEEN, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our care teams for 3x12 shifts, including rotating weekends. You will document procedures, monitor patients, and collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize therapies for neonatal through geriatric patients.

Requirements include Texas RCP, NBRC RRT, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications. The role emphasizes safety, evidence-based care, and efficient patient throughput.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist licensed in Texas (RCP) is required.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Documents and charges for procedures accurately and completely.
• Collaborates with team to ensure patient flow and care coordination.
• Interprets evaluations and test results to determine treatment plans with the team.
• Responds to Code Blue emergencies with CPR per AHA guidelines.
• Operates and monitors ventilators and oxygen delivery per protocol.
• Maintains airway management and related equipment as trained.
