Select Specialty Hospital Birmingham is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our day shift on the 3rd floor at Brookwood. You will evaluate patients, design and implement respiratory care plans, and manage airway procedures including endotracheal tubes, while contributing to continuous quality improvement.

The role requires NBRC credential (CRT or RRT), active state licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care with opportunities for tuition

Qualifications

Must have NBRC CRT or RRT credential.
Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
BLS certification by start date.
Current state licensure is required.
ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Compensation:

$28.98 to $39.00 per hour, based on experieince

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
Current state licensure is required.
ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).
