Job summary

Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide cardiopulmonary services for inpatients and outpatients. You will assist physicians with procedures, manage ventilators and airway equipment, and participate in blood gas analysis.

The role covers day shifts on a 12-hour schedule across ICU, ED, and general floors, with an approximately 13-week assignment. Must have CRT/RRT, BLS, ACLS, and Cerner EHR familiarity. Travel between units may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of recent experience in ICU, ED, or general floors.
• Current CRT or RRT certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cardiopulmonary care in ICU, ED, and general floors.
• Assist with invasive/non-invasive procedures and manage ventilators.
• Perform airway management and participate in intubations.
• Collect blood gases and monitor patient safety during procedures.

Job description

This position requires an experienced allied health professional specializing in respiratory therapy, providing cardiopulmonary services to inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, airway management, ventilator support, intubations, and blood gas analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver cardiopulmonary care in various clinical settings, including ICU, general floors, and emergency department.
• Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures and manage ventilators and airway equipment.
• Provide emergency response support such as intubations and blood gas collection.
• Operate medical equipment and ensure patient safety during procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 12 months of recent experience in a similar unit, including ICU, ED, or general floors.
• Licensure as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferably 3 months of Cerner EHR experience.
• Valid driver’s license and references from recent supervisory roles.

Additional Requirements

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• COVID and flu vaccinations required post-submission, with declination options available.
• Willingness to float to different units and locations as needed.
• Pre-employment modules and documentation may be required.

Shift Details

Day shift, 12 hours per shift, three shifts weekly, with a maximum of 7 days off. The assignment is for approximately 13 weeks.
