Job summary

Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment. The position involves providing respiratory care, with responsibilities including floating across units and locations as needed. The role requires maintaining current licensure, including IA and IL licenses, and may involve completing pre-employment modules. Candidates must have at least 24 months of current RRT experience and relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and RRT.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver respiratory therapy, adhere to certification and licensing requirements, and float within discipline across local campuses. The role includes working day shifts, every other weekend, with a maximum of 14 days off.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid driver’s license, minimum 2 years of recent experience, appropriate licensure, and certifications. Experience with Epic is preferred. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and not be currently employed there. References from within the last 2 years are required.

Additional Details:

The position is travel-only, with an expected duration of 13 weeks, working 8-hour shifts, five days a week. Candidates should upload relevant certifications and health documents to expedite onboarding.
