Select Specialty hospital in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for full-time day and night shifts. Compensation ranges from $31.20 to $42.00 per hour based on experience, with competitive night/weekend differentials and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Join a large team dedicated to world-class inpatient post-ICU care. The role includes patient evaluation, delivering respiratory therapies, airway management, quality improvement, and family education.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire (agency RT must have ACLS on first shift; PRN staff must have ACLS on hire).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Schedule: Full Time Days and Nights are available

Compensation: $31.20 to $42.00 per hour based on experience plus competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.

• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.

• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.

• Current state licensure is required.

• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
