Job summary

Cranberry Place in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The RT will provide quality respiratory care to residents and collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.

Schedule is Days 6am-6pm. Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and Pennsylvania licensure are required, with RRT credential preferred/required as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license.
• RRT credential preferred/required as applicable.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services based on each resident’s individual care plan and clinical needs.
• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor residents for changes in respiratory status.
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered.
• Provide oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, suctioning, and other respiratory care services as appropriate.
• Monitor, maintain, and properly utilize respiratory equipment.
• Educate residents and families regarding respiratory treatments, equipment, and disease management.
• Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare professionals to promote positive resident outcomes.
• Accurately document respiratory assessments, treatments, and resident responses.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the appropriate healthcare team members.
• Follow all facility policies, clinical standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
