Select Specialty Hospital in Fairhill, OH is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for full-time day and night shifts. The role includes evaluating patients, providing respiratory care for critically ill patients, and participating in quality improvement. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with a full benefits package.

Minimum requirements include NBRC credential (CRT/RRT), BLS, current state licensure, and ACLS within 6 months. Prior respiratory care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire (agency RT on first shift; PRN staff upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
