Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a flexible GIG in Missouri. The role delivers direct patient care across respiratory services, with physician oversight and collaboration within a supportive care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential awarded by NBRC. For ER, PALS is required. ACLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness.
• Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
