Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking Respiratory Therapists for flexible GIG positions in Missouri. The roles involve direct patient care, following physician orders, and collaborating with physicians and nursing to optimize respiratory therapy outcomes.

Gigs offer base rates of $35/hr for RRT and $30/hr for CRT, with variable shift incentives and day/night options. W-2 employment supports a flexible schedule and compassionate care across Mercy communities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Hold the RRT or CRT credential awarded by NBRC; ACLS/PALS as required for ER.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy and acts as a resource for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.

Education

Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
