Northwestern Medicine is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our McHenry Hospital team. In this full-time role, you will provide adult respiratory care across med/surg and critical care settings, with opportunities to float to Woodstock and Huntley as needed.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of full-time respiratory therapy experience, a valid Illinois license, CRT or RRT certification, and BLS. We offer comprehensive benefits and supportive career development.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Active or Pending Illinois Respiratory Care License within six months of hire.
• CRT or RRT certification and BLS required.
• Preferred: NRP, PALS, ACLS.

Aufgaben

• Deliver and assess respiratory therapies and monitor patient response.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care management.
• Precept students and promote teamwork within the healthcare team.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and follow established policies.
• Float to multiple hospital locations as scheduled.
