The Pavilion at Piketon for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Piketon, OH, is hiring a Respiratory Therapist. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and active licensure (CRP/CRT/RRT; RN or LPN in state).

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Licensure: CRP/CRT/RRT; current RN or LPN license in state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation; experience with respiratory equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct assessments and diagnostic tests to evaluate patients' respiratory conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with respiratory issues.
• Administer oxygen therapy and nebulizer treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy as needed.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate respiratory support.
• Stay current with advances in respiratory care and comply with safety standards.
