Job summary

Crosswalk Health is seeking Respiratory Therapists (CRT/RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT/RPFT) to perform pre/post bronchodilator spirometry in San Antonio-area primary care clinics.

Roles are 1099 contractor positions with Monday–Friday daytime schedules, no nights/weekends, and flexible 1–5 days per week. You will educate patients, administer albuterol when indicated, and upload results for pulmonologist review.

Qualifications

• Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential.
• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration.
• Comfortable commuting to clinics throughout a region and available to work a flexible schedule.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing.
• Educate and coach patients to ensure accurate, high-quality results.
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients throughout testing.
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams while representing Crosswalk Health with professionalism and compassion.
