Job summary

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform simple spirometry testing at primary care clinics in the Louisville and New Albany, IN areas.

You’ll thrive in a Monday-Friday daytime schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays. The role offers flexible scheduling (1-5 days per week), competitive daily pay, and clinical independence within a supportive, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential.
• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration.

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing.
• Educate and coach patients to ensure accurate, high-quality results.
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients throughout testing.
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams while representing Crosswalk Health with professionalism and compassion.
