Job summary

Memorial Home Services in Lincoln, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a full-time evening shift (1:30pm–12:00am) with rotating weekends. The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and requires active IL license and NBRC registration.

You will deliver respiratory care to patients of all ages, manage ventilators, administer medications, interpret orders, and ensure safety and documentation per hospital protocol.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and IL license required.
• BLS within 30 days; ACLS/NRP within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care to patients of all ages, including ICU, neonatal and pediatric.
• Prepares and tests respiratory therapy equipment for safe operation.
• Interprets physician orders and administers prescribed medications and therapies.
• Monitors patient responses, documents procedures, and reports changes.
• Maintains ventilator care, artificial airways, and CPR readiness as needed.
