Job summary

Qualifications

• Credentialed by NBRC and a graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy program.
• Knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices, regulations and guidelines in long-term care.
• Flexible schedule including 12-hour shifts; patient-care oriented; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide general respiratory services including oxygen, medical gas, humidification and suction therapies.
• Document procedures, organize and analyze data, maintain accurate records.
• Communicate patient information to physicians and caregivers.
• Provide staff education related to respiratory therapy.
• Suggest process improvements and monitor patient progress.
