Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist CRTT to deliver comprehensive respiratory care in a busy hospital setting. The therapist will perform all modalities of Respiratory Care in accordance with training and hospital policies, and will execute allocations within a multidisciplinary care team.

The role may involve working with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting as part of a collaborative team focused on patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NBRC-recognized Respiratory Care program.
• One year of Respiratory Care experience preferred.
• Must be CRT by NBRC upon hire and licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS provider (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care per hospital policies.
• Execute assignments under supervision within a multidisciplinary team.
• May supervise Respiratory Students in the clinical setting.

Job Summary And Qualifications

It is the responsibility of the staff respiratory therapist to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary assigned skills as defined by training and competency demonstration. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC.
• One-year experience in Respiratory Care preferred.
• Must be credentialed as CRT by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
