Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRTT) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide skilled respiratory care across modalities and support patient treatment plans in a busy tertiary care setting.

Required credentials include NBRC certification as CRT, state licensure, and BLS certification; one year of experience is preferred. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an NBRC-recognized, NBRC-accredited school for Respiratory Care.
• One-year experience in Respiratory Care preferred.
• Must be credentialed as CRT by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care.
• Execute assignments in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and supervise respiratory students in clinical care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

It is the responsibility of the staff respiratory therapist to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary assigned skills as defined by training and competency demonstration. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

What qualifications you will need

• Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC.
• One-year experience in Respiratory Care preferred.
• Must be credentialed as CRT by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
