Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and pharmacologic respiratory care per physician orders and protocols. You will assess patients, monitor responses, and implement individualized treatment plans to support respiratory function and recovery.

The role requires accurate documentation, adherence to safety and infection control, and collaboration with the healthcare team to uphold high-quality, evidence-based care

Qualificações

• 1-2 years of healthcare or clinical experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administers respiratory treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Orients patient to treatment modality to facilitate cooperation.
• Conducts patient assessments and monitors responses to therapies.
• Implements physician orders accurately and follows procedures.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance for safety and comfort.
• Communicates with peers and leadership for timely patient care.
• Documents treatments, assessments, and responses clearly and thoroughly.
• Adheres to patient identification, safety, and infection control standards.
• Administers medications as prescribed with safety.
• Demonstrates judgment in emergencies and collaborates to stabilize patients.
• Provides age-appropriate care for oxygen therapy across populations.
• Ensures proper PPE and identification techniques for infection control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies.
