Merit Health Flowood is seeking a Respiratory Therapist - RRT to administer respiratory therapies, perform assessments, and implement treatment plans under physician orders. You will document patient responses, monitor safety, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality respiratory care.

The role requires 1–3 years in acute care, RRT certification, and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. Strong ventilator management and EMR skills are essential for success.

Formación

• 1–3 years of respiratory care experience in an acute care setting.
• RRT certification is required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP and STABLE certifications required depending on department.
• Ability to operate EMR systems and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Orients patient to treatment modality before procedures.
• Performs ABG punctures and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Performs pulmonary testing as assigned.
• Maintains safety and adheres to infection control standards.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and proper function.
• Documents treatments and patient responses clearly and thoroughly.
