FirstHealth of the Carolinas Montgomery Campus is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to deliver cardiopulmonary services including EKG-related testing and a respiratory consult model to optimize patient care. Responsibilities include oxygen and aerosol therapy, airway management, and ventilation support in a collaborative hospital setting.

Ideal candidates will hold NC licensure with CRT or RRT credentials, 1+ year of clinical experience, and be prepared to meet ACLS/PALS/NRP requirements

Competenze

• Graduate of an approved respiratory care technology program with a current North Carolina Respiratory Care license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential or CRT credential; RRT preferred.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications required by end of probationary period.
• NICU and Pediatric experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, airway management including intubations and arterial punctures, and ventilation management per protocols.
• Assess patients and develop respiratory care plans based on Clinical Practice Guidelines.

Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) Job Summary

FHC Montgomery Memorial Hospital offers cardiopulmonary services to include EKG, stress testing and PFT testing and a respiratory consult model that allows therapists to fully utilize their assessment skills and to optimize the plan of care accordingly.

• The responsibilities include but are not limited to all types of oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, airway management with intubations, arterial punctures and analysis, invasive and non‑invasive ventilation management protocols.
• Will be responsible for evaluating the respiratory needs of patients and the development and implementation of a Respiratory Care Plan based on Clinical Practice Guidelines.

Qualifications

Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved respiratory care technology program with a current North Carolina Respiratory Care license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential or CRT credential, RRT preferred.
• Minimum one year of clinical Respiratory care experience required. Three (3) to five (5) years of current clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
• Clinical life safety certification requirements must be achieved prior to the end of the probationary/training period include: ACLS, PALS and NRP.
• NICU and Pediatric experience is preferred.
