Job summary

A leading health care provider in Rockingham, NC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to evaluate patients' respiratory needs and implement care plans. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited program, holds a valid NC license, and preferably has RRT credentials. ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are needed before the end of probation. New graduates are welcome to apply. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved respiratory care technology program with a current North Carolina Respiratory Care license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential or CRT credential, RRT preferred with 3-5 years of clinical respiratory care experience.
• Clinical life safety certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) must be completed during probation.

Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for evaluating the respiratory needs of patients and the development and implementation of a Respiratory Care Plan based on Clinical Practice Guidelines.

CRT/RRT Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved respiratory care technology program with a current North Carolina Respiratory Care license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential or CRT credential, RRT preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years of current clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
• Clinical life safety certification requirements must be achieved prior to the end of the probationary/training period include: ACLS, PALS and NRP.
• NICU and Pediatric experience is preferred.
