Candidate will be placed into the appropriate level:
- CRT range: $24.66 - $42.57
- RRT range: $27.08 - $46.81
SIGN-ON BONUS AVAILABLE (for external/eligible candidates):
- 0-1 years of experience = $12,000 with a 2-year commitment
- 1+ years of experience = $20,000 with a 2-year commitment

Purpose: Under the general direction of a physician, provides respiratory therapy services and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies. Responsibilities are performed across all patient populations and service areas.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate medical orders and interpret clinical data to optimize patient outcomes.
- Set up and operate devices such as ventilators, gas administration apparatus, and aerosol generators; ensure equipment functions safely and effectively.
- Assist in transporting mechanically ventilated patients and respond to code situations.
- Maintain patient charts, order repairs, demonstrate procedures, and supervise trainees.
- Assess patient condition through prescriptions, blood gases, and other data to determine treatment needs.
- Monitor physiological responses to therapy and perform related procedures.
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory program or hold a temporary license with approval.
- Obtain BLS or CPR certification within 30 days of hire; CRT certification required prior to permit expiration.
- Maintain NBRC certification if obtained after July 1, 2002.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- BLS or CPR (AHA standards)
- Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT)
- Osteopathic Respiratory Care or Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP)
- Act 33 and Act 34 clearances with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance
