Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to evaluate patients' respiratory needs and develop care plans. You will operate acute care ventilators for both short- and long-term ventilation and administer respiratory therapies for patients of all ages.

• Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• American Heart Association BLS health care provider required.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling and moving equipment.

• You must be self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
• You will maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
• You will set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.

Requirements:

• Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• State Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, or Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT), or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
