Wellstar Health System’s Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a Respiratory Therapist. Full-time, 36 hours/week, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The role leads respiratory care per physician orders, coordinates care, and participates in rounds and education. Requirements include 2+ years in critical care, BLS/ACLS/NBRC-RRT/RCP certifications, and an Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years critical care experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/NBRC-RRT/RCP certifications required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Acts as Care Coordinator for assigned unit and develops respiratory care plans.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses and clinicians to implement plans.
• Demonstrates competency in invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures.
• Attends daily patient rounds and participates in quality improvement projects.
• Maintains certifications (BLS, ACLS, FCCS, PALS, NRP) and participates in education.
