Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Georgia. The role focuses on administering respiratory care per physician orders, coordinating with the care team, and leading care plans on the unit.

A strong background in critical care and NBRC-RRT certification is required, with BLS/ACLS credentials and a 2+ year CCU preference. Hours are Full Time, 36 hours per week, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required; NBRC-RRT credential required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and monitor respiratory care plans per physician orders.
• Lead unit rounds and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and clinicians.
• Provide patient and family education and participate in clinical rounds and protocols.
