Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current NBRC credential (Certified or Registered) and NJ license.
• Ability to explain procedures to patients and families with clear communication.
• Direct patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS per American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care under supervision to stabilize and treat patients.
• Operate oxygen and other therapeutic gas equipment and administer prescribed gases/medications.
• Check equipment regularly and record data in patient charts.
• Draw, analyze, and report ABGs to physicians and nurses.
• Participate in adult ventilator weaning and related protocols.
