Job summary

SEARHC is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care across the age spectrum from neonatal to geriatric. Each shift involves evaluating patient needs, administering therapies, and educating patients on equipment use.

Responsibilities include pulmonary function testing, ABG interpretation, vent management, and collaboration with the care team to ensure optimal clinical outcomes. A strong credentialing background and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as a certified Respiratory Therapist preferred.
• Credentialed by NBRC as CRT or RRT.
• Respiratory Therapy license from any state.
• ACLS & PALS required within 3 months of hire.
• Clinical Competency assessments required within 3 months and every 3 years.
• High Risk Competency required within 3 months of hire and every year.

Responsibilities

• Assess, administer, and evaluate respiratory therapy treatments for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Perform pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gases interpretation.
• Instruct patients in respiratory therapy equipment and therapies.
