Job summary

Elsevier is seeking Registered Respiratory Therapists to serve as subject matter experts for an AI-powered learning platform. You will evaluate AI-generated content related to cardiopulmonary anatomy, patient assessment, airway management, and therapies to support credentialing candidates.

This role is 5–15 hours per week on a 1-year contract with potential renewal, starting ASAP. Compensation is $55 per hour as a W2 contractor through a third-party agency.

Qualifications

• Current RRT credential through NBRC and active state license in good standing.
• Graduate of a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program with an associate degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated content related to cardiopulmonary anatomy, patient assessment, airway management, oxygen and aerosol therapy.
• Review neonatal, pediatric, and adult critical care respiratory management and common cardiopulmonary disease states.
• Complete asynchronous evaluations within 5 days to 2 weeks and participate in periodic evaluation cycles.
