The Respiratory Therapist provides Cardiopulmonary services to hospital patients and outpatients, coordinating care with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapies. The role requires advanced practitioner skills to handle complex patient situations, including conducting non-invasive cardiac and respiratory studies/tests and participating in special projects. Assisting nursing staff during high utilization times may also be required.

What is required...

• Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist license from the Washington State Department of Health
• Current CPR card (maintenance required)
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)

What is preferred...

• Experience promoting group/team relationships through work and/or education
• Previous experience in respiratory care, including care for adults and pediatrics in acute care settings
• Experience in tertiary or geriatric respiratory care

Wage: Wages depend on experience and licensure level.

CRT: $30.29/hour - $46.06/hour

RRT: $32.24/hour - $47.54/hour

FTE: 0.90 (36 hours/week)
