Gaylord Specialty Healthcare seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care under physician supervision. The role includes ventilator management, airway support, ABG analysis, and participation in code team activities to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements include an A.S. degree, current RRT, CT RCP license, and BLS/ACLS certifications; a health-related bachelor's is preferred. This is an on-site position within a rehabilitation-focused health system.

Qualificações

• Associate's of Science degree required.
• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred.
• Current RRT Certificate required.
• Current CT RCP license required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides ventilator care, secretion mobilization treatments and other treatments as ordered by physician.
• Provides airway care, maintenance and education.
• Performs breathing assessments and mechanics as needed for all purposes as ordered by physician.
• Interprets Orders - Draws and analyzes arterial blood gases, reviews patient information to assess condition and determine requirements for therapy.
• Active member of code team - responds to emergencies and provides care, CPR, airway maintenance including intubation.
