Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide pediatric respiratory care across multiple settings. The role emphasizes teamwork, coordination with interdisciplinary teams, and autonomous management of care plans for children.

The ideal candidate has two+ years of RCP experience, Wisconsin RCP license, CRT/RRT credentials, and current CPR/BLS; PALS within 6 months is required. Join a child-centered, compassionate team with strong orientation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of RCP experience strongly preferred for day shift.
• Coordinate closely with interdisciplinary teams and participate in rounds.
• Discharges and complex care plans with high autonomy.
• Must hold Wisconsin RCP license; CRT and RRT credentials preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required; PALS certification required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in varied settings.
• Administer respiratory therapies and procedures as ordered.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust care.
• Collaborate with health-care team to develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management.
• Respond in resuscitative and emergent situations; follow standards.
