Job summary

Advocate Health's Oshkosh location is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist to support patient assessments and therapy across critical and non-critical care settings. The role requires performing ventilator management, conducting respiratory treatments per orders, and providing instruction to patients and families.

The ideal candidate will hold an associate degree in Respiratory Care, RCP license with NBRC credentials, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with an associate degree.
• RCP license required; NBRC credentials as applicable.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Operates ventilators and assists with bedside procedures in critical and non-critical care.
• Performs respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educates patients on therapy purpose, techniques, and self-care.
• Maintains and troubleshoots equipment and ensures safety and compliance.
